Many visitors come for the zoo. You'll find 73 different species of animals here, with both native and non-native species on display.
You can find 234 individual animals living at Chehaw Park, ranging from tiny tarantulas on up to the massive black rhinoceros.
Some of the critters may be ones you've come in contact with before, like domestic cows or guinea pigs, but we're betting you don't see cheetahs every day!
Prefer to see animals out and about in the wild? There are tons of nature trails here where you can keep an eye out for wild birds and other critters.
The play and splash park is one of the largest in South Georgia. There are shaded areas for adults to cool down and supervise.

You'll even find a 1/8-scale RC track here. It's a blast to watch the cars even if you don't have one yourself.
