It’s easy as pie…to fill up on pie at Hubbard Avenue Diner! In spite of serving up an array of diner classics, the eatery is most known for its pie, which comes in a variety of forms. From traditional pies to pie-inspired creations and shakes, it’s like a little slice of pie paradise. Take a look:
The next time you find yourself pie-ning for some pie, head to downtown Middleton, which is where you’ll find Hubbard Avenue Diner.
Slingin’ slices of house-made pie since 1999, the diner is now famous for its pie. There’s even a sign that says so.
Dubbed a “classic diner with an uptown twist,” the interior boasts a charming retro vibe with a few modern touches.
It also boasts a traditional diner menu that features all the classics, including all-day breakfasts.
But the real treat (literally!) is the display case stocked with homemade treats, including an array of pies.
The pies, along with everything else in the display case, are made from scratch daily right at the diner.
Taking the classic dessert to a whole new level, the diner’s pie selection includes all your favorite fillings – and then some.
The variety doesn’t end with the seemingly endless filling options, though.
And that’s because at Hubbard Avenue Diner pie comes in an array of forms, including taco form. That’s right; the diner is touted as “home of the original pie taco.”
The signature creation, which is not to be confused with its cousin, the hand pie, features a taco-shaped crust stuffed with one of Hubbard’s signature fillings.
Traditional pies and pie tacos aren’t the end of the diner’s pie-related options, though.
There are pie shakes, too! Yep, at Hubbard’s you can also enjoy any flavor pie in shake form.
So, are you ready to pay a visit to this diner and satisfy your pie craving with a sweet slice...taco or shake?
