Winter provides an idyllic backdrop for so many memorable activities - from a taking a magical sleigh ride to chatting with friends as we indulge in delicious food and drinks in a rooftop igloo. If the latter sounds like it's right up your alley, you're in luck. Cafe Benelux, a rooftop igloo bar in Wisconsin, promises perhaps one of the most unique experiences you'll have all winter.
Cozy up in one of the rooftop Lux Domes at Cafe Benelux, a charming restaurant in Milwaukee.
The popular restaurant boasts six private domes.
Each dome seats up to eight guests, promising an intimate dining experience. Before you reserve a dome, however, you'll probably want to know what to expect, right? Although each dome has a small heater...
Dress warm — layers are recommended — since the rooftop dome can get pretty chilly, even with the heater. You'll have an hour and a half in your private dome, which features seating and a coffee table.
Domes cost $200 for the 90 minutes, which includes a complimentary mug for all guests and a beverage package for eight. You can also add a beverage or a food package to your experience.
Order the Local Cheese Platter, for example, that comes with an assortment of cheeses, crackers, strawberries, and grapes. Other popular platters include the Dessert Bites Platter, the Hummus Platter, and the Seafood Platter.
Sound like the perfect winter experience? Book your dome early as the domes sell out quickly. On the day of your reservation, arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of time.
Unfortunately, if you're late, you'll only have the remainder of the 90 minutes in the igloo.
Ready for an enchanting dining experience? Book your dome here.
This unique wintertime destination will fill your heart with happiness.
