No place in Wisconsin offers a taste of Germany like Old German Beer Hall – and that’s no coincidence. The ethnic eatery is modeled after a legendary beer hall in Munich. The Wisconsin version of the famous beer hall has one major perk, though. It doesn't require a passport to visit! Take a look:
Old German Beer Hall has been delivering a taste of Germany to Milwaukee since 2005.
Modeled after Hofbräuhaus, the world’s most famous beer hall, Old German Beer Hall serves up an authentic ethnic experience in more ways than one.
The eatery is adorned with long, wooden tables and benches, which are replicas of those found in its famous overseas counterpart.
But it’s not just the ambiance that’ll make you feel as if you’ve traveled abroad.
There’s also the grub, which is traditional Bavarian festival food.
Peruse the menu, and you’re sure to be pleased with the array of sausage and other traditional eats.
Among the most popular items on the menu are the giant pretzels, which are so big that they barely fit on the plate.
Aside from the size, it’s the taste of the pretzels that’s sure to impress – they’re imported all the way from Munich!
The pretzels aren’t the only menu item that comes from Munich. There’s also the beer, which is brewed in the Bavarian city.
With authentic eats in a setting to match, a visit to the Old German Beer Hall is a treat in more ways than one!
