From the outside, the quaint bakeshop doesn’t look like, well, a bakeshop, which probably has something to do with the fact that it’s attached to a residence. But after one bite of the homemade goodies, the bakery’s appearance will be the last thing on your mind. Take a look:

The kind of place you either specifically seek out or luckily stumble upon, it’s located off a lone stretch of Highway 13.
It’s open seasonally, from April through December, which is something to keep in mind when planning a visit.
Completely worth every bit of effort it takes to reach, Judy’s Gourmet Garage whips up an assortment of sweet treats.
Pies, pastries, cookies, cheesecakes, and Scandinavian baked goods fill the bakery’s display case.
All of the treats are made from scratch on site.
What’s more, the bakery uses local produce in its pastries, including its pasties, which are made using a generations old recipe.
Of all the bakery’s sweet creations, it’s the pie that caught the attention of Travel + Leisure.
According to the publication, the pies are some of the best in America!
