Beerline Cafe is an all-vegetarian creperie and restaurant in Brewer's Hill, serving breakfast all day. Their convenient walk-up counter and friendly staff make their extremely large menu less intimidating! Their menu is very customizable and they offer a long list of espresso drinks, fresh juices, and booze options. For the vegetarian or non-vegetarian, Beerline Cafe is sure to leave you fully satisfied. There's something for everyone here, and the best part is that it's very inexpensive for how high-quality the food is!

2. Simple Café
This east side breakfast spot is perfect for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. They offer fresh and asian-inspired dishes. This spot is relaxing and delicious, and their Korean BBQ Bowl will change your life.

3. Cafe At The Plaza
Located in The Plaza Hotel, Cafe At The Plaza is one of the most loved Milwaukee breakfast spots. With an elegant patio nestled away in the back, you’ll feel like you’re in an enchanted garden. Not only that, but most of the cafe’s ingredients are locally sourced.

4. Zak's Cafe
Zak's Cafe on 2nd Street in Walker's Point is one of the best every day brunch spots. Their avocado benedict is to die for, and their patio makes everything that much better.

5. Mad Rooster Cafe
This big red barn on Miller Parkway is hard to miss. The parking lot is always packed, and for good reason. The popular breakfast spot is only open until 3, and has an extensive hispanic-inspired menu. Their signature baby red potatoes are a must-have add-on to any dish.

6. Cafe Benelux
Grand Cafe Benelux is part of the Lowland Group owning Benelux, Hollander, and Centraal. With an extensive 'bier' list, a patio on the roof, and an amazing brunch menu, this downtown spot will hit the spot every time.

7. Fuel Cafe
Arguably one of the most recognizable spots in Riverwest, Fuel Cafe is a place to be seen. The original Fuel Cafe opened in 1993, and a new Walker's Point location has recently opened. They both serve some amazing breakfast, and have an affinity for "slowly racing fast motorcycles."

8. Engine Company No. 3
This renovated firehouse is as cool as the food within it. With a strong focus on fresh, delicious, and locally sourced food, you can't go wrong. Anything you order here is a good choice, but we recommend making reservations for this popular Walker's Point joint.

9. The National Cafe & Takeaway
You can't miss this cute little cafe that is bringing new life to National Avenue. They have a delicious artisan breakfast menu along with unique lunch options, and they serve Anodyne coffee and specialty espresso drinks. Their space is quite small, but they offer takeaway as well.

10. The Comet Cafe
An East Side staple, Comet Cafe offers a full bar and huge all-day breakfast menu with many vegan options. They don't take reservations, but they do give free bacon to everyone who purchases a drink after 6 p.m. on Sundays!

11. Colectivo
Colectivo Coffee is a well-known coffee roaster in Milwaukee, but they also serve an incredible all-day breakfast. With locations all over Milwaukee, you can get a breakfast burrito or some homemade oatmeal anywhere. They offer dozens of bakery items from their very own Troubadour Bakery as well.

12. Brewed Cafe
Right in the heart of Milwaukee on Brady street, you’ll find Brewed. This little gem is great for a cup of coffee, or a sit-down breakfast. They offer fantastic vegetarian and vegan options.

13. Holey Moley Coffee + Doughnuts
If you're craving a doughnut this morning, we've got the place for you. Holey Moley is the go-to Milwaukee doughnut shop that also serves Valentine coffee. Every night they bake up both traditional and innovative recipes and flavors. They offer cake, old fashioned, gluten-free, vegan doughnuts—and so much more. You can find their flavors every night on their Instagram. Be sure to get there early though, because they tend to sell out!

This modern cafe serves breakfast and lunch every day until 3! There tends to be a wait so make sure to call ahead.

Blue's Egg in Wauwatosa is a go-to breakfast joint. Their loaded hash browns are talked about all over the town.

This 'Tosa restaurant is fairly new to North Avenue, but it's blowing up! This new diner offers classic breakfast options, along with a killer lunch.

The OG Pancake House is something everyone must try. Offering unique pancakes and gigantic omelettes, this classic breakfast joint is good for the whole family.

This American cuisine restaurant has been blowing up the edge of Wauwatosa. They have an amazing weekend brunch, and almost all of their food and drinks are locally sourced. This spot is a little on the pricier side, but well worth it.
