It's hard not to love pizza in any form, but this West Virginia pizza shop is one for your dining bucket list. You won't find these creative and fresh topping combinations anywhere else, and the pies are hand stretched and baked directly on a stone hearth. The perfectly created pizzas have all the right flavors.
Pies and Pints got its start in Fayetteville, West Virginia.
It's since expanded to several other locaions, but the original shop in Fayetteville is still serving amazing pizzas.
Even the simple pies are delicious.
The Margherita Pie comes with fresh mozzarella, basil, Parmesan, olive oil, garlic and tomato sauce.
But you can get some pretty fancy toppings as well.
The Cuban Pork Pizza has slow roasted pulled pork, caramelized onions, fresh pineapple, jalapeños, feta, cilantro, and crème fraiche.
The restaurant also has seasonal specialties.
This is the Heirloom Tomato Pie.
The "Truffle Shuffle" seasonal pie is available only for a limited time.
It comes with roasted mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, ricotta and parmesan, and is finished with all natural truffle oil, salt & pepper.
The Grape & Gorgonzola Pie is an unusual combination, but is beloved by customers.
It comes with red grapes, Gorgonzola & fresh rosemary.
If you just can't decide which toppings to get, you can go half and half!
This pie is half Sriracha Shrimp and half Pesto.
As for the "Pints" part of the name, the restaurant has a large selection of craft beers to go with your pizza.
It's hard to beat the combination!
