One of West Virginia's best-kept secrets is that it's actually home to a vibrant dining scene. All over the state, you'll find fantastic restaurants with all kinds of cuisines being served. But while we all know the bigger, more famous restaurants in the state, there are also plenty of tinier, lesser-known restaurants that offer absolutely delicious food and are well worth a visit even if they are slightly off the beaten path.
Consider one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, which is located in the small town of Capon Bridge. Here's what you need to know about this restaurant in West Virginia.
Capon Bridge is a small town in West Virginia, with a population just under 1,000 people.
But don't let the size fool you. This tiny town is home to some amazing businesses.
One of our favorites is El Puente Mexican restaurant, a small, family-owned restaurant.
Like the name suggests, the spot specializes in Mexican food.
The menu is lengthy, with all your favorite Mexican dishes offered.
We are partial to the taquitos, but the burritos are delicious, too (and you get to make it yourself).
Of course, you can't go wrong with whatever you order. Just make sure you get some of El Puente's homemade sauce on the side!
It adds zest to any of the dishes on the menu.
And we haven't even mentioned the margaritas yet. We dare you to find better margaritas in this area of West Virginia.
Basically, everything El Puente does, it does well.
Visitors from all over rave about the great service, food, and prices you can find at El Puente Mexican Restaurant.
It's well worth a visit if you're in the area!
