Washington's craft beer scene is thriving, and our each of our breweries has its own unique character. Located in the remote Ferry County, Republic Brewing Company offers homemade sodas and locally crafted beers in an intimate setting. This family owned and operated brewery and taproom is well worth the drive from your part of Washington.
Republic Brewing Company is located at 26 N Clark Avenue in the little Western town of Republic.
This isn't the original Republic Brewing Company -- that one opened in the 1890s, serving beer to gold miners until Prohibition. The current taproom is located in the old fire hall.
The taproom is a lively place, full of friendly locals who are out to enjoy a cold one and each other's company.
The team here says it's a casual yet lively place that feels like home, but with much better service
The team here consists of co-owners Billy and Emily and a few trusty bartenders who also handle things like marketing and promotions.
Whether it's your first time or your 50th visit, they'll make you feel right at home.
If you go enough, you just might end up with a mug on the wall.
Don't worry, that's a badge of honor here.
Perhaps Republic Brewing Company's biggest claim to fame is the fact that they brew their own soda in-house as well as their beer.
It's delicious on its own, and it also makes a fantastic cocktail mixer.
You'll find a few light bites on the food menu here, including a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Kids, who are more than welcome in the taproom until 8 p.m., often appreciate that option.
Republic Brewing Company often hosts live musicians who perform all-ages shows, one of the many benefits to being a local.
The taproom is open Wednesday - Sunday, although hours vary.
If you've never been to Republic Brewing Company, check it out the next time you find yourself in Ferry County. We've got some pretty charming breweries here in Washington, like this one.
