Flatstick Pub is proof that mini golf isn't just for kids... in fact, there are many who would argue that it's best played indoors, with a beer in hand. That's part of the reason the concept has been so wildly successful. If you've never heard of this unique spot, we'd love to introduce you.
Flatstick Pub got its start in Kirkland in 2014.
They've since expanded to Pioneer Square and South Lake Union in Seattle, and most recently, Spokane.
At Flatstick Pub, there are two rules: Drink local and have fun.
They only offer beer from independent Washington breweries. And even if you're not a beer drinker, you just might become one when you visit -- it's that good.
Of course, you certainly don't have to drink at all to enjoy Flatstick Pub -- the games are enough to keep anyone smiling.
The miniature golf course at each location is fun, challenging, and one-of-a-kind.
Flatstick also offers other games, such as duffleboard, Cup Hunter, and Stick Putt (their own invention).
Needless to say, you won't see a lot of bored patrons at this bar.
Mini golf is fun for all ages, and that's why most locations allow minors to play until 7 p.m.
The Pioneer Square location is 21 and over at all times, however.
You'll find delicious local beer, wine, and cider at all locations, but the South Lake Union location is the only one with a full kitchen.
At the Kirkland location, you can bring your own food in at any time. In Pioneer Square, patrons can only bring their own food in if the onsite Manu's Tacos is closed. The Spokane location serves tasty pizza and other bar food from Ethan Stowell, so there's no need to bring your own snacks.
Flatstick Pub is a beloved local hot spot in western Washington, and it's exciting that they've expanded to the east side as well.
This is a fantastic date night spot, post-work hang out, or place to celebrate a birthday.
