Let's face it -- sometimes we all have the kind of hunger that only an enormous and perfectly prepared burger will satisfy. Luckily, Washington has plenty of excellent options for giant burgers. The portions at these restaurants are definitely huge, and the quality is also top notch.
1. Feed Co. Burgers, 1190 24th Ave., Seattle
This upscale burger joint is run by Chef Scott Staples, who also owns Fremont's Uneeda Burger and the beloved Quinn's Pub. The burgers here are huge, cooked to perfection, and absolutely irresistible. Get the seasonal veggie tempura for a real treat that's even better than fries.
2. Miner's Drive-In Restaurant, 2415 S 1st St., Yakima
Miner's has been a Yakima icon for decades. Although the city has changed a lot over the years, these giant burgers have remained consistently enormous.
3. Wisconsinburger, 916 S Hatch St., Spokane
Get a little taste of the Midwest right here in Washington at this charming spot. The premium local beef is ground onsite, leading to the ultimate fresh burger.
4. Stack 571 Burger & Whiskey Bar, Tacoma, Bothell, Lake Tapps, and Olympia
This local chain serves some seriously scrumptious gourmet burgers, and none of them are small. You'll get a full half pound of local beef from Eastern Washington smothered in the toppings of your choosing.
5. Eastside Big Tom, 2023 4th Ave E., Olympia
Originally founded as Eagan's in 1948, this classic drive-in has been Eastside Big Tom since 1969. The burgers are fantastic, especially the Big Tom.
6. Boomer's Drive In, 310 N. Samish Way, Bellingham
Boomer's has been a beloved staple in Bellingham for decades, and somehow, the burgers keep getting better every year. If you're really hungry, get The Big Boom.
7. Burger Madness, 4117 4th Ave S., Seattle
You won't find many restaurants in Washington with a Stack 'Em High challenge, but Burger Madness wants to ensure that you never leave hungry. These patties are never frozen, marinated, and hand crafted. The hardest part is the first bite.
8. Foodies Brick and Mortar, 308 W Kennewick Ave., Kennewick
This burger pretty much speaks for itself. Foodies Brick and Mortar serves burgers of all sizes, but if you're feeling adventurous, you can attempt something like this.
9. The Gourmet Burger Shop, 4120 Harborview Dr., Gig Harbor
These handmade burgers are downright addictive. And while you might not eat the entire thing in one sitting, it's always worth it to try.
10. Crave Grille, 13025 NE Fourth Plain Boulevard,
Vancouver
At Crave Grille, the burgers are basically edible works of art. The fact that they're enormous is just a bonus.
Washington has so many tantalizing burger joints. Here's another one worth checking out.
