Pao's Donuts & Coffee Shop offers some of our favorite foods that are so tempting, so mouth-wateringly delicious that we are willing to go out of our way to stand in line for a taste. We all have our favorite local eateries, but I think we can agree: Pao's Donuts and Coffee, in Tacoma, has the best donuts in Washington. Pao's maple bars are so good they sell out nearly every day and if you haven't tried them, you're missing out. Let's take a peek at this lovely store.
Pao's Donuts Tacoma opens at 6 a.m. seven days a week and features a convenient drive-through.
Please keep in mind that Pao's is a cash-only establishment.
Since 1996, Pao's has been making the most delicious donuts around.
Made fresh daily, Pao's features a large selection of raised and cake donuts, scones, muffins, and donut holes.
With so many flavors to choose from, it's easy to see why Pao's Donuts is so popular.
What's your favorite flavor? There's a good chance Pao's has it.
Whether you prefer sprinkles or plain, fancy or classic, Pao's has something for everyone.
You can't go wrong with a traditional old-fashioned glazed donut...
... although the cinnamon twists are equally delicious.
My personal favorite is the seasonal pumpkin spice cake donut with a hot vanilla latte.
But then again, a tasty cruller is always a good idea.
Of course, the real star of the show is the maple bar.
Plan on arriving early. You don't want to miss out. Pao's maple bars are not only the best we've tried, but they're also huge! And if you're fortunate enough to get them while they're still warm, you'll be in maple bar heaven.
Pao's Donuts & Coffee Shop offers more information on its Facebook page. Be sure to get there early before the maple bars sell out. Have you been to this delicious eatery? What is your go-to flavor? We'd love to hear from you in the comments below.
If you're a history fan, take a look at these reconstructed buildings at Tacoma's Point Defiance Park. And if you're traveling around, reserve a room on Expedia.com.
