Edmonds is a fairly small city located just 30 minutes north of Seattle in Snohomish County. While it has traditionally been known for its beautiful waterfront and not much else, Edmonds has quietly become an incredibly diverse culinary destination. In fact, you probably won't find this much of variety of tasty and diverse eateries anywhere else in the Pacific Northwest.
Edmonds is a little piece of paradise.
Full of mountain views, tree-lined streets, and breathtaking waterfront scenery, it's no wonder many of the area's top chefs, successful immigrants, and longtime locals have had success in the restaurant industry here. One of the city's top restaurateurs, Shubert Ho, calls it the best-kept secret on the West Coast.
If you love sushi, look no further than SanKai.
Sushi master Ryuichi Nakano is so talented, people come from all over the area to dine here -- and Seattle isn't exactly hurting for good sushi.
Everything here is fresh, flawless, and creative.

Sometimes, at Fire & the Feast, you can stand in the window and watch fresh pasta being made.
You'll feel tempted to go in and try some. And you really should.
Parts of the Pacific Northwest have climates similar to parts of the Mediterranean, so Italian cuisine is easy to enjoy here.
Edmonds is just steps away from the sea, minutes from the closest vineyards, and a few hours from some of the best agricultural resources in the country. Needless to say, the food here is incredible.
Barkada is a laid back Filipino spot on 5th Avenue South ...
... but don't let its unassuming looks deceive you. This place is a culinary treasure.
Many of the Filipino dishes have Hawaiian influences. This Birria has beef brisket, birria consume, sou vide egg, sun noodle, sweet onion, scallions, cilantro, and lime.
Speaking of Hawaiian influences, Ono Poke has the most delicious poke and an owner that hails from Oahu ...
... and if nothing but Mexican food will do, La Oaxaca is definitely a top choice.
The tacos here are out of this world.
This is just a small sample of the many delicious restaurants you'll find in downtown Edmonds and beyond. If it's an authentic lobster roll you're craving, check out this beloved spot.
