The property was founded before the Revolutionary War as a farm where unique cattle from Europe were bred. Yet the most intriguing aspect of the farm wouldn't develop until the 20th century.
In 1942, a covert listening post was established due to the farm's remote location, which made it an ideal spot for picking up international radio signals.
Inside the upstairs tasting room, located in the same building as the WWII operation, visitors will notice old photographs from decades past conveying this extensive history.
