2. Up For Breakfast - 4935 Main St, Manchester
The menu has so many appetizing offerings which makes it hard to choose. The blackberry and walnut pancakes with sides of turkey hash and jalapeño bacon are out of this world. The consistency is like angel food cake w/ a touch of sweetness so you almost don't even need the maple syrup... Almost.
3. L&M Diner - 240 N Main St, Barre
(Note: as of September 6th, 2020, the L&M Diner is permanently closed). What's better than a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow? The real hard ice cream milk shakes at the L&M Diner, of course! If you're looking for breakfast, the pancake list has lots of variety and is sure to please even the pickiest child and everything is very affordable.
4. The Maple Diner - 7083 US Rt 4, Bridgewater
(Note: as of September 6th, 2020, The Maple Diner is permanently closed). Great portions, great prices, great food. Definitely worth a stop and a chat with the friendly staff. If you love breakfast and lots of choices, the Maple diner is a must try. You'll also enjoy the variety of hot sauces and you can even buy some to take home.
5. Blue Benn - 318 North St
Bennington
(Note: as of September 6th, 2020, Blue Benn Diner is permanently closed). This place is a classic American diner at its best. You'll enjoy the whole experience and the pecan pumpkin pancakes are out of this world. Wow!
6. Cup & Saucer Restaurant - Dover Rd, Wilmington
You'll love the U shaped seating and fast, friendly service. Whether you're in the mood for homemade corned beef hash or fluffy buttermilk pancakes, you'll love this Mom & Pop shop.
7. Handy’s Lunch - 74 Maple St, Burlington

8. Parkway Diner - 1696 Williston Rd, South Burlington

From the omelets to the club sandwiches, this place is a favorite and a must stop when in South Burlington. Just look at this delicious Vermont Burger, complete with local cheddar, bacon and apple! YUM!
9. Henry's Diner - 155 Bank St, Burlington
Nothing takes care of the aches and pains from a long night like eggs, bacon/ham/sausage and home fries... or just about anything else at Henry's! You'll love this gem of a breakfast place tucked into a side road off Church Street in Burlington.
10. Penny Cluse Cafe - 169 Cherry St, Burlington
No matter where you come from, this place is worth the wait. The gingerbread pancakes are to die for and everything else will make your mouth water.
11. Miss Lyndonville Diner - 686 Broad St, Lyndonville
This diner is often called the best kept secret in the Northeast Kingdom, but it's not much of a secret, it's ALWAYS busy! And this is a sure sign of good things to come. From the thick bacon to the triple decker club, you'll go back over and over again for this gem.
12. Brown Cow Restaurant - 900 E Main St, Newport
This place will always have the best breakfast or lunch, whatever you get it will be delicious. Just don't admit that you're not a Red Sox fan :)
13. McCarthy’s Restaurant - 454 Mountain Rd, Stowe
(Note: as of September 6th, 2020, McCarthy's Restaurant is permanently closed). The best time to visit McCarthy's is on St. Patricks Day, and you can see the countdown on the wall to know how many days until March 17th the rest of the year. The food is devine, the service phenomenal, and the corned beef hash is out of this world!
14. The Village Restaurant - 74 S Main St, Hardwick
Hardwick is an up-and-coming place for culinary masterpieces, and the tried and true Village Restaurant will never disappoint as a dynamic pallet pleaser. Thick rye toast, outrageously good veggie burgers and some of the best home fries you'll ever taste, this is one stop worth making for a great meal. Just look at these delicious chocolate eclair pancakes!!!!!
15. Chelsea Royal Diner, 487 Marlboro Rd, Brattleboro
Freshness is the name of the game at the Chelsea Royal Diner. Pictured is their Fresh lobster stuffed avocado salad. Imaginative and delicious!
