Everyone loves a good secret. Especially if it involves a secret speakeasy. Prohibition is long gone, but this local watering hole brings back the vibes from times past. Where is it? Well, we can't tell you exactly... because it really is a secret — one that you have to figure out for yourself.
The speakeasy's name is Lincolns. You can find it in Burlington, somewhere off of Church Street... probably on College Street. It's up to you to find it. Consider it an adult scavenger hunt of sorts.
When Lincolns first opened the location was not divulged. Part of the appeal is finding it on your own. Now bar-goers have passed the address from friend to friend but there are some out there who have yet to find this old-fashioned watering hole.
When you do track down the secret speakeasy, you'll discover a space reminiscent of days past. Old-fashioned lighting, dark walls, and tall tables create an attractive tavern.
Keeping things really simple, all the drinks are $5 (that's right, we said all). The bartender will only accept cash for beer, wine, and cocktails. Hungry? Try the chili mac. It's also only $5.
Lincolns is a gathering spot for good conversation and games. Borrow some from the bar or bring your own from home. Relax, unwind, and enjoy in this hidden spot.
Once you hunt it down, visit Lincolns Sunday - Wednesday from 5 p.m. - 12 a.m., Thursday from 5 p.m. - 1 a.m., and Friday - Saturday from 5 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Check Lincolns out on Facebook, you just might find some clues to their location!
