The Bench opened in 2014, but it's already become a big part of Stowe's dining scene. A wine and craft beer bar that has an extensive menu of food, it's an ideal place for the whole family to come after a day of skiing or exploring. This is a place frequented by a lot of locals, so you can expect a crowd year-round.
The menu at The Bench features a lot of popular standards, including excellent burgers and hearty entrees like barbecue ribs and roast duck. The signature, though, has to be the house-made pizza. The Bench currently offers six varieties, ranging from a classic red sauce pie to the unique Vermonter, made with bechamel sauce, cheddar and blue cheeses, apples, bacon, balsamic onions, arugula, and maple syrup.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days.
