We're really spoiled in Utah when it comes to tasty restaurants. Whether you're looking for a fancy spot to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, or you'd rather have a casual cafe with comfort food, you'll find literally hundreds of excellent restaurants to choose from. Even our small towns have some pretty amazing dining choices. Take a look at this mouthwatering restaurant in Helper (population around 2,100).
The little town of Helper is located in Carbon County, about seven miles from Price.
You'll find Balance Rock Eatery & Pub at 148 S. Main Street.
The restaurant occupies a space built in 1906 that originally served as a furniture store.
It's named after Balanced Rock - a geologic formation perched on the cliff above town.
The two-story restaurant is cozy and warm. The owners have renovated the space, but kept many of the architectural details of the original design.
The restaurant is most well-known for its delicious breakfast.
Of course, you can't skip the scones with honey butter.
And lunch is yummy, too.
The loaded rock chips are a one-of-a-kind appetizer.
We think dinner is every bit as good as breakfast here.
Apple fritter delight for dessert!
Helper is a small community with a lot of traditions. Balance Rock Eatery and Pub participates and supports many of Helper's events including the annual Arts, Music & Film Festival, St. Patrick's Day celebration, Utah's Christmas Town Festival and more. The eatery is a vital part of the community!
Have you ever had the pleasure of dining at Balance Rock Eatery and Pub? What's your favorite item on the menu?
We love exploring some of Utah's most delicious restaurants, found all over the state. Here's a pretty little spot in northern Utah - check out Gibbon's Green Gate Farm.
