Welcome to the Brickyard Bar, which is the former location of Lumpy's Bar on Highland Drive. The building dates back to the 1970s and has become a staple in the neighborhood.
The new owners of the grill have completely renovated the interior of the building as well as all of the menu offerings.
The newly-renovated space features plenty of room to hang out, watch the game, enjoy a beer and dinner with friends, and even play a few rounds of pool. The bar also features a DJ on Friday night and live music every Saturday night from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. If you're looking to stop by for the game, there are no less than 21 TVs to choose from, 4 of which are high-definition 85-inch with 4k technology.
If it's your first time visiting the Brickyard Bar, you'll want to order one of their iconic Brickyard Burgers piled high with your favorite toppings and served with hand-cut fries.
The full-time chef, Erik Daniels, has been the executive sous chef for all the Proper restaurants and is bringing is culinary expertise to this lovable Ute bar.
Of course, the burgers are just the beginning. There's an entire menu of classic pub grub, including street tacos, chili cheese dog mac and cheese with house-made hot dogs, and much more.
And don't forget about the wings. The Brickyard Bar offers mouthwatering bone-in smoked wings with either dry rub or Korean BBQ sauce. If you visit on a Monday night, enjoy poker and all-you-can-eat chicken wings for $16. You might also be tempted to order the vegan smoked cauliflower wings -- they're delicious!
For a real treat, you might be tempted to order the pot roast poutine, complete with beer battered fries, caramelized onions, gravy, and gruyere.
Stop by on Saturday or Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and you can look forward to sampling the brunch menu.
Some of the delightful entrees include biscuits and gravy pizza, french toast, breakfast nachos, a classic American Breakfast, and waffles. Brunch often features drink specials, such as $3 mimosas and $4 Bloody Marys.
On Sundays at 9:00 a.m., the Brickyard Bar features yoga and brunch, also known as "Planks and Dranks."
For $10, visitors can enjoy a yoga class as well as a mimosa. After working up an appetite, you'll love ordering something from the brunch menu.
