How would you like to dine in one of the most haunted establishments in the country? You can do just that, because it's a restaurant right here in Texas: Houston's Spaghetti Warehouse. Its haunted status is undeniable given that thousands of customers who don't know each other at all have reported seeing or hearing ghosts during their meal.
I could talk about it all day, but pictures are worth a thousand words. Take a look for yourself.
Before it was a restaurant, Spaghetti Warehouse was a pharmacy that came to a gruesome end.
One day when the elevator was being serviced, one of the pharmacists accidentally fell down the gaping shaft and died. His wife, who died of a broken heart a few years later, allegedly haunts the building to this day.
Plenty of customers and employees alike have reported experiencing paranormal activity in the restaurant, mainly on the second floor.
This part of the building is only open for special occasions, but all you have to do is ask and the staff will take you up for a tour...if you're brave enough. The upstairs lights stay off when the floor isn't in use, so whatever lurks in the darkness has plenty of time to cause mischief.
Even paranormal experts have visited to check things out for themselves. They've been able to determine which areas of the restaurant are the most haunted for the courageous customers who want to sit there.
Antique furniture and grand chandeliers can be found in every room, adding to the creepy ambiance.
And guests have seen ghosts sitting on the bar stool next to them in those enormous mirrors.
Not only will you never forget your meal here because of the paranormal activity, but the food is also delicious. Enjoy Italian classics like lasagna...
...or a heaping plate of spaghetti and meatballs (with a glass of red on the side, of course.)
If you're getting bored of your typical dining experiences and need a change of pace, Spaghetti Warehouse is the "BOO-st" of both worlds: amazing food and a spooky backstory that creates a unique, unforgettable atmosphere.
Have you ever eaten at Spaghetti Warehouse? Did you experience any paranormal activity? What other restaurants in Texas are haunted?
