Are you a cult horror aficionado? If so, we've got a restaurant that belongs at the top of your bucket list. On the side of a remote country road in Bastrop, The Gas Station is a BBQ joint that was featured in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre film. It serves up some of the most succulent, flavorful brisket and sausage around -- and you can even spend the night.

If this building looks familiar to you, that's because it was used in filming one of the most iconic horror movies of all time: the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Today, the former (fictional) human slaughterhouse serves up finger-lickin' good BBQ rather than people -- and you can even spend the night.

After chuckling at the sign that states "We Slaughter Barbecue," head inside and take a look at the menu. You'll find brisket and sausage by-the-pound, in addition to plates and sandwiches.

Classic sides like beans, potato salad, and coleslaw make for a well-rounded meal with all the Texas flavors you love. Occasionally, specialty items such as these mouthwatering bacon-wrapped peppers are made available to change things up a bit and add some variety.

Four rustic cabins promise to make your stay a nightmare (in the best, most comfortable way, of course.) Each one sleeps three adults, or two adults and two children. Amenities include electricity, heat, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a front porch.

Two of the cabins feature one king bed and a twin pull-out sleeper chair, while the other two have one queen and one full bed. The blood-colored walls guarantee that, as soon as you lay down to sleep, visions of chainsaws whirring to live will dance in your head.

Campsites are also available, and a shared bathhouse is open to both tent and cabin guests. Towels are provided, and you'll be given a code to access the facilities.

You'll even see a near-exact replica of the van from the movie! Peruse the gift shop for terrifying trinkets you can actually purchase and take home, such as a plank from the original Gas Station awning or autographed photo of Caroline Williams.
