The owner, a former Mercedes-Benz mechanic, always dreamed of owning his own business and couldn't think of a better idea than a candy store or a better place than historic downtown Denton. 5. Hey Sugar (Roanoke)

Hey Sugar is more than just a candy store - it's a hangout spot, a party venue, and a place where priceless memories are stored. It all began when owner Kristin Brittan got her youngest son to sell candy out of a trailer at horse shows the family participated in. He was so successful that Kristin decided to open a storefront in Roanoke's restaurant district.
