Located in the unassuming city of Beaumont, Willy Burger is bringing back the 1950s with a retro atmosphere and classic diner food. The restaurant itself is charming enough with leather booths and barstools overlooking the kitchen (oh, and let's not forget about the neon sign outside!), but the adjacent vintage airstream adds a whole new level of nostalgia.
Customers actually have the option to eat in the trailer! Talk about a unique dining experience. You can also rent it out for a private event.
Whether you get a classic burger or the most outrageous concoction available, everything starts the same way: with USDA Certified Angus Beef. It's stripped, ground, and formed by hand every morning, then cooked to order on an old-school, flat-top griddle. Your taste buds will be forever changed from the very first bite of that pillow-soft bun, juicy patty, and fresh veggies.
Some of the most popular toppings include pimiento cheese and fried green tomatoes, bleu cheese, sriracha mayo, fried boudin, and pizza sauce. Throw in some hand-dipped onion rings, which are fried right in front of you, and a creamy milkshake for a meal that takes you back to Friday nights at the local soda fountain.
Gluten-free buns are available, as well as alternatives like grilled chicken, Ahi tuna, pork chops, and a portobello mushroom patty. Customize your burger with bacon, grilled onions and jalapenos (cooked in the bacon grease...yum!), a fried egg, avocado, and many more scrumptious add-ons to build a culinary masterpiece.
A trip to Willy Burger wouldn't be complete without some Parmesan Garlic fries. Thin-cut so each one gets coated with the most seasoning possible, these tiny bites of heaven sure don't last long (no shame in making it a double order!)
With the mottos "It's Willy Willy Good" and "Where Friends Meat To Eat," you know the grub has to be delicious.
