Located just outside of downtown, the Farmers Market plays host to all sorts of local eateries in their food court, from Indian and Mexican food to a good ol' American sub sandwich. 2. I Dream of Weenie
This walk up spot serves up some of the greatest hot dogs in Nashville. Their fun toppings and the quirky atmosphere make for a fun, summery experience any time of year. (113 S 11th Street)
3. I Love Juice Bar
Scattered across Nashville and a few states nowadays, this is the kind of Juice Bar that fuels your workouts and keeps you full of your daily required vitamins and minerals. the staff are always overly friendly and kind, and its a great place to grab a delicious meal on the go. (Various Locations)
4. Lynne Lorraine's
East Nashville's answer to vegetarian goodness and the whole acai bowl craze, Lynne Lorraine's is a locally owned juice bar that has some delicious menu items to even out their liquid emphases. (1100 Fatherland St #102)
5. Funk Seoul Brother
Known as a food truck but now located in Midtown, Funk Seoul has provided Nashville with the delicious sushi burrito (pictured) and poke bowls that are to die for. Its Japanese and Korean food specialties have given Nashville's Asian representation new life. (2057 Scarritt Place)
6. Smoke Et Al
Known as one of the best food trucks in the Nashville area, Smoke Et Al serves up some solid bbq alongside its fantastic customer service. You'll want to check out where they are around time according to their schedule, but this is a line earns the wait.
7. Frothy Monkey
Not exactly a restaurant, per say? But Frothy Monkey came from a cafe mentality and has given birth to a coffee shop and low-key restaurant fusion that's extremely popular amongst the young folk. (Various Locations)
8. Tootsie's World Famous Orchid Lounge
Ah, yes. Tootsie's. The famous bar located on Broadway, you can't call it a restaurant but you sure as heck can call it iconic. (422 Broadway)
9. Pinewood Social
Pinewood Social isn't really a restaurant - it's absolutely everything. Go bowling, hang out by their dipping pool, meet some friends at the bar work on your burgeoning freelance career in their living rooms OR grab a normal meal. It's all up to you. 10. Fetch
The newest establishment by Fido looks promising, although a bit different from its mother coffee shop/restaurant fusion. This is where you come when you're simply looking to grab and go, and it just opened! (1812 21st Ave S)
11. Dozen Bakery
Grab a homemade pastry at Dozen Bakery in their brick-and-mortar location in the Wedgewood-Houston area of town. Dozen provides quite a few of the pastries for coffee shops around town, but we love their offerings on-site, whether it's the way most folks imbibe or not. (516 Hagan Street #103)
12. Proper Bagel
Take 'em and go is usually the name of the game at Proper Bagel, but you'll want to spend a minute admiring the beautiful atmosphere. They've done well here at Proper Bagel, and your breakfast is bound to be as wonderful as their decor would cause you to believe. (2011 Belmont Boulevard)
