Tennessee is chock full of southern comfort restaurants and Mexican taquerias alike, infused with all sorts of delicious and delectable meals that make you nice and full with a lot of enjoyment to boot. Still, amidst the biscuits and gravy you may find yourself craving something a little bit...different. Unique, perhaps. A meal that's bit greener and crunchier. The Little Octopus opened a handful of years ago in Nashville, Tennessee, but don't let its young age fool you - this is one of the best spots to eat in the state.
The Little Octopus opened as a pop-up shop in East Nashville a few years ago, garnering waves of excited reviews in a matter of weeks.
Their aesthetic was sleek and clean, an experience that was solidly fostered by delicious food and shared plates. A leaner atmosphere gave way to a true foodie experience at an affordable price.
The quirky yet elevated decor makes for a fun experience within an otherwise upscale eatery. Located in the Gulch, the inspired space falls right in line with the millennial-infused surrounding area.
Little Octopus will serve a prix fixe meal for $75 per person. The four-course menu will include amuse-bouche, table snacks, an entree and dessert.
All veggies and meals are inspired by classic Latin dishes, giving a fresh spin to some of your favorite foods like ceviche, fingerling potatoes and masa cornbread.
Owned and founded by Sarah Gavigan, it's evident that her laid-back southern California cool has made its way to Nashville.
We'd recommend saving room to indulge in one of the restaurant's signature cocktails. "Fresh" seems to be the key term here, but it makes sense - every craft cocktail is made to order and with a tight, fresh bite. Perfect.
You can order a prix fixe menu for $75 a person, if you'd rather not surf the menu. You'll have the chance to enjoy a four-course meal, including multiple appetizers for the table, an entree and dessert.
You can visit for a meal at 505 12th Avenue South, and we'd recommend making a reservation first. They're open every day of the week for lunch and dinner, so plan ahead and enjoy something delicious, folks. We'll meet you there!
While you're in Nashville, we'd recommend taking this blooming flower walk. It's beautiful!
