Brunch has long been epitomized in movie lore and through nostalgic memories - it's where you spend time with your best girlfriends, laughing over plates filled to the brim with poppyseed pancakes and twice crisped bacon. Where you mesh good times with bottomless mimosas and spend the day forgetting about the afternoon and the work week beyond. Even better yet...what if we told you that one of the best restaurants in Nashville is now offering the opportunity to indulge every day of the week?
"Brunch" to millennials has apparently become synonymous with second breakfast, and has resulted in the uptick of restaurants across the nation honoring the well-honed late morning addition to the days' meals.
Hemingway's Bar & Hideaway is located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville, and is well known for their popular weekend brunch menu and fabulous handcrafted cocktails available all week long.
But what about serving brunch SEVEN days a week? Hemingway's just announced that their brunch menu will be available from 11am to 3pm during the week, and from 10:30am to 2:30pm on the weekends.
You can indulge in bottomless mimosas and the full brunch menu includes an avocado toast with spicy mango, breakfast tacos stuffed full of chorizo and jalapeno creme fraiche, and local favorites like brown butter pancakes loaded with lemon mascarpone and blueberry compote.
The entire menu is delicious, but if you come searching for shakshuka you won't be disappointed. The Reuben sandwich is served on a perfectly tart marble rye and black lava salt graces the top of the heirloom tomato salad.
If you're anything like us, brunch plans for this weekend - or even next Tuesday! - just changed venues. You can make a reservation online with OpenTable for your group or you can call the restaurant for your party.
You can visit Hemingways Brunch & Hideaway for yourself and indulge in a delicious meal in a beautiful space, located at 438 Houston Street in suite 160.
