If you're a big fan of fresh seafood, you probably don't think of "Tennessee" immediately. It's true, we are a landlocked state that serves up a mean biscuit in lieu of salmon, a fried catfish kind of place as opposed to sea bass or the fish of the day. Still, that doesn't mean you need to give up - we just try harder to bring the public what they want. And Cousins Maine Lobster? Just made all of Nashville's fresh seafood dreams come true.
Cousins Maine Lobster serves up - arguably - the best lobster rolls in Nashville, Tennessee. As you can tell from the name, the eatery prides itself on serving east coast fare in the heart of the south.
You may recognize Cousins Maine Lobster from their stint on Shark Tank in 2013, a leap of faith that has proven wildly successful.
The local business announced that it would be opening a Nashville store last February, and finally celebrated its grand opening on Saturday, May 26th. This is Cousins Maine Lobster's first restaurant opening outside of Los Angeles, California.
The restaurant got its start as a smashingly successful food truck that made the rounds in the heart of Music City itself. After expanding from one food truck to two, it became clear that a permanent space was going to be necessary. Nashville simply couldn't get enough!
As the leading provider of Maine lobster rolls in Nashville, Cousins Maine Lobster takes a lot of pride in serving fresh seafood for good prices. You won't find these lobsters drowning in sky high costs, but rather served up in Middle Tennessee for East Coast prices - there's no gouging because of the location, just honest food served by happy employees.
We can't imagine a better way to experience summer food. What a delicious spread for those hot summer nights!
If you're a fan of seafood but you don't want to leave your pretty Volunteer State, then Cousins Maine Lobster is the place to go. This award-winning eatery is well worth the time, and perhaps all the repeat trips you can fit in your week.
If you're in Middle Tennessee you can visit Cousins Maine Lobster at 1932 Almaville Road in Smyrna, Tennessee.
Continue your eating adventures with a stint at this hole-in-the-wall Greek restaurant in the heart of Nashville. You'd never guess it's hiding some of the best gyros in the city!
