Whether you're looking for the best ramen in the city or a solid bite of plant-based goodness, we've got it all. Anyhow, we're just trying to help you out with your bucket list for 2017 - do you think you can hit 'em all up?
21. Sapporo Japanese Restaurant - Madison
Some may be a bit hesitant to head up to Madison for sushi - but believe us. You'll forever be thankful. A small, humble spot of Gallatin serves up the best sushi in Nashville - try it, love it, never leave it. (1593 Gallatin Pike N)
20. City House - Germantown
City House opened a few years ago to great local fanfare, and continues to break down barriers when it comes to eclectic southern food offerings. Their pork belly pizza is the stuff of legends - throw an egg on it, too! So good. (1222 4th Ave N)
19. Avo - West Nashville
Avo forever changed Nashville with their avocado margarita and plant-based experimentation that took the city by storm. Everything in their restaurant is plant-based, and it's given every vegan/vegetarian a new haunt. (3 City Ave #200)
18. I Love Juice Bar - Various
We LOVE the Juice Bar! With locations scattered across the city (we love the new Germantown spot!), you can indulge in a gluten-free entree or delicious veggie based smoothie at all times of the day. The Blue Chocolatta is KILLER.
17. Bakersfield Taco - Downtown
This quirky downtown taqueria boasts tacos rife with delicious sauces and perfectly cured meats. You'll really feel like you've stumbled in off the dusty streets, in search of a great margarita and three types of salsa. (201 3rd Ave S)
16. Lynne Lorraine's - East Nashville
You can find Lynne Lorraine's in the sweet, pea-pickin' heart of East Nashville. It's turned itself into the eastside go-to when it comes to fresh smoothies and juices, even listing a few menu items for those of you who like a bit of crunch in your lunch. (1100 Fatherland St #102)
15. Coco's Italian Market - West Nashville
Walking into Coco's is like walking into the Old Country - there is nothing more authentic than this westside Italian market and restaurant. They have an event center for those of you looking to host a carb-party, too. Comes highly recommended. (411 51st Ave N)
14. Otaku Ramen - The Gulch
After a fairly publicized pop-shop and opening in the Gulch, Otaku Ramen has ironed out the kinks of being Nashville's premier Ramen stop and wears the crown proudly. They're also known for their hot chicken bun, so get on over there and try it. #worthit (1104 Division St)
13. Rosepepper Cantina - East Nashville
Ah, yes. Rosepepper. The iconic cantina on the eastside that serves up a side of sass with their salsa. Great after a long day at work or a weekend lunch, their margaritas take the cake. (1907 Eastland Ave)
12. Burger Up - Various Locations
We'll forever love the Marathon burger, and we ALSO think you should visit Burger Up as often as possible and as early in the day as possible - the lines get brutal, but the fare is forever worth it. Try their truffle fries!
11. Yeast Nashville - East Nashville
Yeast Nashville is tucked away in an unassuming strip mall on Woodland, but one bite of their Tex-Czech kolaches and you'll feel as if you've gone to heaven. With sweet and savory option available, you may have just found your favorite hidden gem. (805 Woodland St #300)
10. DeSano Bakery - Midtown
They bake until the dough runs out - and you'd be surprised how often it does. DeSano Bakery is wildly popular for a reason, and we'd say their communal atmosphere and tender, perfectly baked pizza crust gives Five Points and run for its money. (115 16th Ave S)
9. Bartaco - 12South
Creative taco options and a killer margarita top the list at the new Bartaco location in 12 South. This stylish eatery is often packed on the weekends, but you can grab a quick bite during the week if your schedule is free. (2526 12th Ave S)
8. Butcher & Bee - East Nashville
Hailing from its sister shop in Charleston, Butcher & Bee operates on a series of small plates that make the best kind of meal. Their hummus and toasted pita are delicious, as is their extensive bar menu. (902 Main St)
7. The Standard - Downtown
This is the epitome of southern grandeur in the city of Nashville. The Standard is located downtown, and is located in the only remaining grand townhouse in the downtown area. White linen tablecloths and fabulous service make up for the high price tag -this is a celebratory spot for everyone, folks. (167 Rosa L Parks Blvd)
6. Double Dogs - Various Locations
Double Dogs may be known for their hot dogs - but did you know they have over 100 craft and imported beers on-site? That's a lot of delicious to pair with their Ballpark Nachos or Tillamook Dog.
5. Mas Tacos Por Favor - East Nashville
You're probably rolling your eyes and laughing to yourself - of COURSE Mas Tacos is on this list. Of course it is. Their newly opened bar area is only a couple of months old, and the tequila options are PLENTY. Plus, we can't get enough of their fried avocado tacos and $3 price tag. Can we come here everyday? 4. Chauhan Ale & Masala House - The Gulch
This upscale Indian food eatery in the Gulch has all of your favorite Indian staples paired with a beautiful, vibrant spot tucked away from the glitz of the downtown Nashville area. Five star reviews and unique dishes are always a winner, in our book. (123 12th Ave N)
3. Josephine - 12 South
Josephine is located in the 12 South area, and is one of the most sophisticated and beautiful eateries in the city. Their upscale menu and stunning, streamlined design invite brunch goers and bridal shower guests over and over again. It's also good for the once-a-month fancy date night, if you can leave the littles. (2316 12th Ave S)
2. Husk Nashville - SoBro
Husk is paired with the original Charleston Husk location, and serves up a solid spin on traditional Southern fare with locally sourced ingredients and a kind staff. You have now met the epitome of Nashville class. (37 Rutledge St)
1. Butchertown Hall - Germantown
Described as, "rustic-chic" and with a menu chock full of meaty entree options, Butchertown Hall most definitely lives up to its name. They serve a great brunch during the weekends (again, wildly carnivorous) and gives a solid nod to date night with their extensive bar menu. (1416 4th Ave N)
