1. Skogen Kitchen

This tiny kitchen in Black Hills is simply unforgettable. This spot caters to the average person and foodies alike, but no matter what you're sure to be blown away. This restaurant may be small, but it stands up to the best of the best.

2. Pizza Mill

This pizza joint is an order-at-the-counter style service with awesome pizza and spaghetti. Even though they're only open Saturdays and Sundays, it's worth the wait. With timeless decor, a friendly and welcoming staff, and mouthwatering pizza, pasta, soups, and sandwiches, Pizza Mill is always a good choice.

3. Connie's Cafe

(Note: as of September 9th, 2020, Connie's Cafe is permanently closed). Connie's Cafe, also known as Connie's Place, is seriously small. However, it doesn't get more personal than this; don't be surprised if Connie is serving you herself! The biscuits and gravy are top notch, as well as other diner favorites like breakfast or a good burger. This is your go-to in Black Hawk.

4. B&G Milkyway

B&G will transport you to the past despite being in a tiny drive in restaurant. They've been serving your favorite hamburgers, foot longs, baked beans, and waffle cones for decades and we hope they continue for many more.

5. Wagon Wheel Bar & Grill

Sometimes you just need some classic bar food! This local favorite draws in locals and visitors alike. Onion petals > fries, every time.
