Welcome to South Carolina's tallest restaurant, a one-of-a-kind eatery that not only lets you dine among the clouds but also offers 360-degree views from every table.
Wait. Every table? You bet.
Top of Carolina is located on the top floor the Capstone House on the USC Campus in Columbia.
Being on the 18th floor is extraordinary enough, but this restaurant offers another very unique feature: it rotates!
In just under an hour the restaurant makes one complete rotation -- dishing up a panoramic view of the Capital City.
But the view isn't the only noteworthy thing about Top of Carolina.
The food is outstanding!
It's served up buffet-style. The buffet is set up on the inside wall, while the tables are all on the outside...
so you can see it all from your very own seat.
You'll need to plan well in advance for your visit to this South Carolina eatery.
To start with, they're only open on Friday and Sunday and you'll need a reservation.
Call ahead for a reservation for their Friday "cookout" buffet or their Sunday brunch. You won't be disappointed by either one.
Don't think that just because you need a reservation that the food is outrageously expensive or that the restaurant is pretentious. It's neither.
Top of Carolina has a great reputation for delicious food and a friendly staff. If you plan ahead then you'll love dining among the clouds in the state's only rotating restaurant.
