Do you love steak? If you do than, boy, do I have a list for you! There's something about a huge steak that has been cooked over a perfect flame. The grill marks, the scent, the juicy center of a steak that has been cooked to perfection is a treasure that a lot of us are looking for. Hold on to your chairs, don't lick the computer screen, and take a look at what I have for you! Don't you wish that Smell-O-Vision was real? I know there are times when I do.

1. Halls ChopHouse, 434 King St, Charleston, SC 29403

This place serves a serious cut of meat. The portions are quite generous. In fact, so generous you may not have room to sample their amazing whiskey bread pudding.

2. CityRange, 615 Haywood Rd, Greenville, SC 29607

People rave about the steaks here. They are large, cooked just right, and leave you with a warm, fuzzy full feeling. P.S. The wait staff is out of this world friendly.

3. Daniel's, 2 N Forest Beach Dr #108, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

A steakhouse that dances to a different beat. They serve small plates in an atmosphere known for its unique vibe.

4. Rioz Brazilian SteakHouse, 410 Columbiana Dr, Columbia, SC 29212

Here the meats are carved table-side. Anyone who has ever eaten here never stops talking about it and I do mean "never". For one price, you get all the meat and salad that you can possibly eat. They will feed you until you just can't eat another bite. P.S. Don't pass up the grilled pineapple. Promise me that.

5. The Oak Table, 1221 Main St, Columbia, SC 29201

This is an "Uptown" experience in downtown Columbia. The food is magnificent. They serve large entree portions as well as samplers, which can be quite addictive. The atmosphere is definitely above par and you will walk out feeling as if you were the only customer there...that's how good the waitstaff are.

6. New York Prime, 405 28th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

This steakhouse definitely lives up to its name. It serves aged cuts and grills to perfection. They also serve delicious seafood and have a nice wine list.

7. Carolina Restaurant & Steak House, 13882 SC-9, Chesterfield, SC 29709

No one ever leaves this place with a bad opinion. They go on and on about the ribeye. It's cut and cooked to excellence. The drive here is definitely worth it.

8. Mountain View Steak and Seafood, 2383 Pickens Hwy, West Union, SC 29696

The food here is delicious. The chef definitely knows what he's doing in the kitchen. On a side note, they're not open on Wednesdays.

9. Clark's Seafood & Chop House, 720 US-17, Little River, SC 29566

Talk about a place that has it all?! The view is amazing and what could accompany it better than a huge, deliciously cooked steak with whatever sides you choose. You won't be disappointed.

10. Carson's Steak Warehouse, 150 W Beltline Blvd, Anderson, SC 29625

This place masters the art of offering up All-American comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere.

11. Peddler Steak House, 2001 Hoffmeyer Rd # F, Florence, SC 29501

The Peddler offers supreme cuts of meat, a full wine list, and a great wait staff. It can be a little pricey, but definitely worth a try.

12. B&C Steak and BBQ, 829 Radford Blvd, Dillon, SC 29536

The steak is obviously good, but they also have a full bar and salad bar. The price is on point and who can beat that? Great southern food.

13. Prime Steakhouse, 316 Richland Ave W, Aiken, SC 29801

There's nothing less than perfection coming from the kitchen here. The place stays packed so be sure to get there early.

14. Chuck's Steak House, 9695 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572

This place serves Certified Angus Beef and hand-cut their steaks on a daily basis. You won't find that just anywhere. They are locally and independently owned as well.

15. Saskatoon Steaks, Fish & Wild Game, 477 Haywood Rd, Greenville, SC 29607

I can't be biased, but I have to say that this place will make your tastebuds explode. Yes, they have wonderful steaks grilled to perfection and they will cut like butter they are so tender. However, they also have things you will probably not find elsewhere. If you get a chance, try the Wild Game Platter and let me know how the ostrich tastes.
