Don't let the outside fool you, this tiny little cafe — called the Road Runner Cafe — packs some mighty big flavors into this small eatery that opened 30 years ago in Winnsboro.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. When my son was just a little guy, he was at the store in the toy section looking at stuffed Pooh Bears with my husband, who picked one up to show him. My son’s response was to point to a larger-sized one close by, which is the one he ended up with that day! Since that time, he has “grown up” so much and has learned that important life lesson that bigger isn’t always better. We could all think of numerous examples, and Scändi Tiny Coffee, a coffee shop in Greer, S.C., is an excellent one.

Scändi Tiny Coffee is located in the upstate city of Greer. It's a part of the Lake Walk Tiny Home Community, one of about a handful or so tiny home communities that have been established in South Carolina.
If you don't find available seating indoors, there are plenty of options in this Greer coffee shop's outdoor space, complete with swings, cornhole, plenty of tables, a fire pit, and beautiful landscaping. During the winter season, heaters provide extra warmth. And on occasion, there's live music to drink in along with the coffee.
The menu offers a nice variety, including specials such as this birthday latte that was offered when the coffee shop celebrated its two-year birthday in January 2022. It was made with the shop's house-made almond syrup and garnished with whipped cream and sprinkles. So yum!
Other options include teas, hot chocolate, Italian sodas with handcrafted syrups, and more. This drink is the Violet Fizz, featuring homemade blueberry syrup and topped with a splash of local milk, both beautiful and delicious!
