Discovering a restaurant with interesting and different menu options is akin to finding gold, especially for foodies. Okay, maybe not gold, but some of you get the gist. It may be even more consequential when it comes to breakfast options. Breakfast seems to get boring pretty quickly. The Bananas Foster French Toast at Croissants Bistro and Bakery is the perfect solution. And it's worth the drive, no matter where in the state from which you may be coming.
This eatery opened in 1995 at the corner of 82nd Avenue and Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.
Outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the warmth of the coastal climate and crisp ocean air along with your meal.
People go “bananas” over the decadent, infamous Bananas Foster French Toast. It has been described as “a party in my mouth.”
Perhaps one thing that makes it so popular is the fresh bananas used to prepare it. The restaurant partners with local farmers and fishermen to source the freshest fruits, vegetables, seafood, and meats for everything they serve.
Ask to top your Bananas Foster French Toast with homemade whipped cream!
Have some coffee, freshly roasted in-house.
Visit Croissants Bistro & Bakery, and review it, like so many happy customers before you.
You can eat here for lunch, as well. There are many wonderful selections to choose from, including sandwiches, soups, and salads.
You’ll want to have dessert, too!
Choose from bread, muffins, cookies, cakes, and pies, baked fresh daily, of course.
The owner, Heidi Vukov, has been honored as SC Restaurateur of the Year and SC Chef Ambassador.
She grew up in Germany, where her love for cooking was nurtured in her grandmother’s kitchen and by European bakeries.
The bakery is a local favorite for special occasions, from birthdays to weddings to baby showers, and more.
A display case full of the bakery’s most recent creations is visible when you walk through the doors into the restaurant.
It’s the type of place you could have a very difficult time deciding on what to have … hmm?!
The atmosphere is casual and friendly, with great service. The prices are reasonable as well.
The restaurant’s connection to the community is further evident on the official Facebook page of Croissants Bistro and Bakery, where you can get more information such as hours of operation. This smoothie, for example, was shared in support of Myrtle Beach marathon runners earlier this year.
Its ingredients would be especially appealing and helpful for athletes!
