Greenvale Vineyards has been producing signature wines on their 150-year-old family farm in Portsmouth since the 1980s.
The farmland gently slopes towards the Sakonnet River giving way to glorious water views.
The winery has 27 cultivated acres and produces nationally recognized wines. From effervescent whites to dry reds, there is a wine for every palate.
The barn tasting room is open seven days a week. It's the ideal spot to kick back and relax.
The rustic space is cozy and inviting with rich wood beams and plenty of natural light filtering into the space.
Wine tastings are $15 per person and include seven different wines and a Greenvale Vineyard logo glass.
From May through December on Saturdays, enjoy their Jazz Tasting. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., you get live music, seven wines, and a logo glass for $20.
During warmer months, you can bring your own chairs and picnic and enjoy a tasting outdoors in the beautiful vineyard.
You can also book a private tour of the winery with a tasting afterward for just $25. The next time you need a break from it all, head to Greenvale Vineyard to sip and take in the scenery.
