There are a lot of things that many of us will never take for granted again. Spending an entire afternoon in a crowded coffee shop savoring a latte and people watching may seem like a small thing to some, but to most Rhode Islanders, it's an enjoyable pastime since the Ocean State has so many charismatic coffee shops. And while those days will return to us soon, in the meantime, we highly recommend grabbing a creative coffee and a treat from The Coffee Depot to tide you over.
The Coffee Depot is located in historic downtown Warren, where it has been since its 2002 opening.
And it didn't take long for this place to become a local hot spot.
Inside you'll find a traditional coffeehouse with a contemporary twist.
The walls feature the beautiful work of local artists, most of which is for sale.
The baristas love to get creative with the drinks here -- but if you're a fan of traditional drip coffee and Americanos, you'll find those here as well.
The freshly roasted coffee drinks are as delicious as they are beautiful. And if you stick around, you can enjoy a 50 cent refill.
The Coffee Depot is a coffeehouse, and the hot drinks are definitely the top reason people visit...
... but if you come in, it's best to come hungry.
The Coffee Depot also serves tasty breakfast, lunches, and pastries.
The desserts here are freshly made, and the breads and bagels are freshly baked.
It must take an enormous amount of effort to keep these cases stocked. But treat yourself to something delicious and you'll see that it's worth it.
The Coffee Depot is open daily at 6:30 a.m. They close at 4 p.m.
Until the day comes when it's safe to linger for hours once again, feel free to stop by and grab a coffee and some breakfast to-go.
Sometimes it's nice to let someone else make your morning coffee for you. The next time you're in Warren, stop by the Coffee Depot.
