Hudson Street Deli is a neighborhood icon. It opened its doors in 1922, and has been serving the most amazing grinders and other sandwiches ever since.

This place is always full of locals, and you'll likely have to wait in line for a few minutes to place your order. Be patient - these sandwiches are well worth your wait!

A good sandwich is served on a tasty roll. A truly great sandwich is served on a fresh-baked Crugnale Bakery grinder roll. They're delivered hot out of the oven to Hudson Street Deli every morning.

The menu is packed full of all kinds of sandwiches, but one of the most popular items on the menu is the Hudson Street Italian Grinder. It includes ham, pepperoni, Genoa salami, provolone cheese, banana peppers, olive oil & vinegar, Italian salsa, and mayo, piled high on your choice of a half or full loaf bun.

The Armory is another favorite, with savory roast beef and chopped banana peppers, provolone cheese, and a special house-made garlic mayo.

The Joe includes your choice of chicken or tuna salad, lettuce, tomato and red onion. This grinder will fill you up and fuel you for the rest of the afternoon.

In addition to the special grinder sandwiches on the menu, you can get any other sandwich made as a grinder for just 75 cents more. This is the Willowtree BLT made as a grinder. Yum!

While the grinders are particularly palate-pleasing, you'll find lots of other sandwiches on the menu. Get your sandwich fix on marble rye, whole wheat, or white bread, or try a panini, or wrap.

Hudson Street Deli is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but if you don't have time to stop in, you can always place your order and have it delivered via bike delivery from Dash Delivery.

Dash Delivery is available Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. There's a $5 delivery charge, and you'll want to order your sandwich in advance because it will take about one hour from the time you order until you're holding a delicious grinder in your hands. Delivery is currently available in the West End and Downtown areas.
