Huck’s Filling Station in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, offers Southern-inspired cuisine with local, seasonal ingredients in a former gas station setting.
Fueling up on delicious food is one of our favorite pastimes here in Rhode Island, and for good reason -- our dining scene includes some of New England's best eateries. That's certainly the case for Huck's Filling Station, a former gas station turned casual fine dining spot. The decor here is minimalist in nature, but the cuisine is anything but.
Huck's Filling Station is located on Post Road in East Greenwich.
The owners, Ed Brady, Jeff Quinlan and executive chef Andrea Leonardo, launched one of the Ocean State's top restaurants, Milk Money -- so they're certainly no strangers to out-of-the-box buildings.

This former service station only has 26 tables inside, with room for a few more at the bar.
As you can imagine, this presented a host of issues over the last year. But the team got creative with takeout and outdoor dining options, and the restaurant survived.

Treat your taste buds to an explosion of flavor at Dolores PVD, a popular neighborhood restaurant focusing on cuisine from the Mixteca region of Mexico. While enchiladas, which come with rice and refried beans, are always a good choice, take a peek at the entrees, too. All come with tortillas, rice, and beans, promising a flavorful meal that’s sure to fill you up. For a meaty meal, order the carne asada, marinated flank steak, or the Costilla en mole pasilla, short ribs with zucchini and roasted potatoes. The Chile relleno, a poblano pepper stuffed with queso, is also a must-try.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days.
