1. Aunt Carrie's, Narragansett

Legend has it that the founder of this establishment, yes Aunt Carrie herself, was the brilliant mind behind clam cakes. What once began as a roadside lemonade and chowder stand has grown into an amazing restaurant in Narragansett. 2. Iggy's Doughboys and Chowder House, Narragansett

Iggy's is a no brainer and an obvious first choice. Few restaurants represent the Ocean State like Iggy's and most of us locals have fond childhood memories here. You can enjoy their delicious freshly made chowder and clam cakes in both Narragansett on your beach days, or year-round in Warwick.

3. Monahans Clam Shack, Narragansett

Monahan's has an extensive history in Rhode Island. Its picturesque location along the Narragansett Sea Wall makes it an ideal place to enjoy your meal with a stunning view of the bay. This place is almost too perfect on a sunny day. Visit them at 190 Ocean Road.

4. Flo's Clam Shack, Middletown

Flo's has been a fresh and local restaurant since the 1930s! With over a dozen different awards under their belt and an excellent reputation from the locals, Flo's Clam shack has more than earned its spot on this list. Find them at 4 Wave Ave in Middletown.

5. Blount Clam Shack, Warren

This seasonal old-fashioned style clam shack offers two great locations to enjoy their tasty chowder and cakes across the state. Find them along the waterfront in Warren, or at charming and historic Crescent Park in Providence. The Warren location pictured on the map is found at 335 Water Street.

6. Amaral's Fish and Chips

This classic clam shack serves up delicious New England and Portuguese style food. Not a bad combination! Their delicious menu can be enjoyed at their location in Warren at 4 Redmond Street.

7. Rocky Point Clam Shack, Warwick

Rhode Islanders love to reminisce about the good old days at Rocky Point Amusement Park. For many years, Rhode Island was left with no way of satisfying their Rocky Point recipes craving. Lucky for us, Rocky Point Clam Shack serves up all the original recipes of the amusement park with some of the original memorabilia found on site. Visit them at 1689 Post Road.

8. Tommy's Clam Shack, Warwick

Tommy's has become a local legend in Warwick. If you're seeking a casual outdoor dining place to enjoy delicious seafood, look no further! Tommy's is it. Find it at 2247 Warwick Ave.

9. Crows Nest, Warwick

This nautical themed establishment is a bit off the beaten path on Arnold's Neck Drive in Warwick, but it's worth finding. Fresh and delicious seafood is served with a stunning view of Greenwich Bay in sight.
