Winter can get pretty brutal in Pittsburgh. The cold gray skies, the snow, and the icy roads can really make things kind of gloomy. We all need to find ways to break the monotony of the long winter and to cure cabin fever when it strikes. This winter pop-up taproom in Pittsburgh will help you do just that all season long.
Carve out time this season for a visit to the winter pop-up taproom, hosted by Hitchhiker Brewing, in the Allentown neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
The pop-up taproom is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Saturday through March 28, 2020. That gives you plenty of time to head over for a visit or maybe even a few.
Join other Pittsburghers at the pop-up taproom, where you can sip draft beer, paired with delicious food from one of several food vendors, including…
...Dos Reyes, Black Sheep BBQ, and Menuette, each of whom will rotate Saturdays at the taproom, offering guests some of their most popular dishes.
Black Sheep BBQ might be best known for its BBQ smoked meats and scrumptious homemade sides. Dos Reyes, on the other hand, serves delicious “Sonoran-inspired Mexican food” as well as Mexican classics.
The pop-up taproom will also feature can releases and have some merchandise available for purchase.
If you can’t make it to the pop-up taproom this winter, you can still stop by Hitchhiker Taprooms in Sharpsburg and Mount Lebanon all year around. Both locations are open Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
