Windgate Vineyards & Winery features a guest house for rent and is within easy distance of downtown Smicksburg. The winery welcomes guests seven days a week from noon to 5 p.m. with closures on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

2. La Casa Narcisi Winery – 4578 Gibsonia Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044

Indulge in a leisurely winery and private tasting experience every weekend at 10:30 a.m., or stop for dinner at La Vite Ristorante, at La Casa Narcisi Winery. The winery also features regular public events and a wine shop. Visit La Casa Narcisi Winery Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

3. Christian W. Klay Winery – 412 Fayette Springs Road, Chalkhill, PA 15421

Enjoy the rustic setting of Christian W. Klay Winery, a rural winery that welcomes guests to stop in for a walk-in tasting and tour during normal business hours. Christian W. Klay Winery is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

4. Stone Villa Wine Cellars – 1085 Claypike Road, Acme, PA 15610

Kick off the holiday season with a visit to Stone Villa Wine Cellars, which hosts its annual Holiday Open House November 25 through November 27. The 150 acre winery nestled in the Laurel Highlands features events all year around and live entertainment during the summer. Plan at trip to Stone Villa Wine Cellars Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

5. Raspberry Acres Winery – 250 Clawson Road, Blairsville, PA 15717

Snuggled on a sprawling 137 acre farm, Raspberry Acres Winery offers a tranquil setting for visitors. Part of the Groundhog Wine Trail, the winery welcomes guests Friday and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and by appointment.

6. Rustic Acres Winery – 234 Crisswell Road, Butler, PA 16002

Visit the Rustic Acres Winery, a winery designed to celebrate "friendship and gathering." Free wine tastings are available during regular hours. Rustic Acres Winery features seasonal hours and welcomes visitors September through December Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. January through August hours run Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

7. Ripepi Winery & Vineyard – 93 Van Voorhis Lane, Monongahela, PA 15063

Ripepi Winery & Vineyard's winter hours are Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
