Nestled on two secluded acres in Conshohocken, Spring Mill Cafe has been delighting guests since 1978 with authentic French cuisine, impeccable service, and an enchanting ambience.
Today, three buildings comprise the country cafe that once occupied just one of the farmhouse's tiny rooms. Back then it had just five tables, welcoming guests for lunch.
The buildings in which the restaurant currently sits boasted their own unique history, at one time serving as a general store, a thrift shop, and a craft store.
Reservations are a must, so you can guarantee a table for brunch or for dinner. Brunch is served on Sundays while Spring Mill Cafe offers dinner Tuesday through Sunday evening.
While the ambience is sure to make you feel as though you've landed in France, wait until you taste the food. Start off with an appetizer like the cheese plate or the salade de tomates.
The menu is seasonal, so keep that in mind. However, you may have such delicious options as the classic filet mignon and the salmon.
Choose from a variety of decadent desserts - French macarons, flourless orange cake, and daffodil cake, for example
If you're stopping by for Sunday brunch, dig into a variety of dishes, including the shrimp & grits, the eggs Benedict, or the steak frites.
View days, hours, and menus on the Spring Mill Cafe website. Or, stop by its Facebook page.
