1. Trax Farms – 528 Trax Road, Finleyville, PA 15332
Trax Farms provides the perfect setting for a fall outing. Even better? You can sample and purchase freshly-pressed apple cider from the farm's cider mill. The cider mill started churning apples into cider way back in 1964. Trax's apple cider must be kept refrigerated and can even be frozen so you can enjoy chilled apple cider during those long winter days. Trax Farms store hours are currently Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
2. Soergel Orchards – 2573 Brandt School Road, Wexford, PA 15090
Craving apple cider during the hot days of summer or in the frozen evenings of winter? Soergel Orchards has got you covered. The farm's cider press runs all year around right at the farm. Stop by Soergel Orchards for some freshly-pressed apple cider Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
3. Brown’s Orchard & Cider Co. – 267 Southview Road, McDonald, PA 15057
Brown's Orchard & Cider Co. boasts that its guests claim the orchard has "the best darn cider." That delicious fresh apple cider is pressed right on site, using a 1930's press. Decide for yourself if Brown's Orchard & Cider Co. has the "best darn cider." Stop by Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
4. Fuhrman’s Cider Mill – 8270 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16509
Chug down a chilled class of freshly-pressed apple cider at Fuhrman's Cider Mill, General Store, and Bakery. The cider mill presses apples on site, using presses that are over a century old. The cider is made from apples from some of the farms in Erie. Take a leisurely fall drive to Erie's Fuhrman's Cider Mill. Stop by Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
5. Sally’s Cider Press – 497 Perry Highway, Harmony, PA 16037
Relax with a delicious glass of freshly-pressed apple cider from Sally's Cider Press. Have an apple tree? Bring your own apples and Sally's will press them into refreshing cider. The cider press also sells apple butter. Sally's Cider Press opens for the season on September 7, 2017 with pressing hours set for Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
6. Barbers Orchard – 3394 PA-417, Franklin, PA 16323
Stock up on all of your favorite fruits and vegetables at Barbers Orchard. Even better? Fresh apple cider is available all autumn long. Barbers Orchard is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
