Hey, yinzers! Who's up for a little exploring this weekend? Today, we're going to hit the road and follow the Pittsburgh brewery trail where you can enjoy some of the Burgh's best beers and delicious food. The good news is we're staying close to the city for this trail, so you won't have to travel far.

Plan your trip!
Treat yourself to a little fun this weekend (or the next time you have a little time off) by hitting the Pittsburgh brewery trail. As always, follow it as it is. Or, add and remove stops to meet your needs. Off we go!
1. Grist House Craft Brewery
Let's start our epic adventure at Grist House Craft Brewery in Millvale. The family-owned and run craft brewery boasts both indoor and outdoor seating. Sit outside all year round in the beer garden. Or, grab a seat indoors in the taproom where you can see the brew system that creates your favorite beers. Grist House Craft Brewery serves an assortment of craft beers, including Gristly Brown Bear, Black in the USSR, and Camp Slap Red.
2. Penn Brewery
Treat yourself to a delightfully delicious Pittsburgh meal - and beer, of course - at Penn Brewery, our next stop along the brewery trail. Order from such popular Pittsburgh dishes as potato cheese pierogies, potato pancakes, and the yinzer salad. Pair your meal with a Penn Pilsner, Penn Dark, or Penn Weizen. Penn Brewery also offers brewery tours on select Saturdays at 1 p.m.
3. East End Brewing Taproom
Start your visit at East End Brewing Company with a tour of the brewery. Choose from one of three different tour options, each of which comes with a different price tag. The Brewery 101 Tour, for example, lasts for about a half an hour and will give you insight into the brewery and how it works. Then, stop by the taproom for a little sampling. Choose from Nitro Snow Melt, Big Hop Harvest, and Black Strap.
4. Cobblehaus Brewing Company
We're heading to Cobblehaus Brewing Company in Corapolis for our next stop. Lift your glass in a toast with such beers as Olde Towne Alt, Black Bear, and Berry Abyss. Nibble on snacks or order food - and have it delivered straight to your table - from Big Shot Bobs House of Wings, Zuko's Pizza, or Anthony Jr's Restaurant and Pizzeria.
5. Voodoo Brewery
Alas, we've arrived at our final stop, Voodoo Brewery in Homestead where you can sit down for a delicious meal, wine, and barrel-aged cocktails. Of course, order from the selection of beers on tap, too, such as the Double Blueberry Berliner Weisse, Sparkling Hard Cider, and They're Good Hops, Brent.
