Start counting down the days! Christmas will be here before we know it. In the lead-up to the big day, most of us will have a ton to do, from shopping for gifts to preparing holiday meals. However, it's also the perfect time of the year to spend time with family and enjoy the holiday festivities. Pile the whole family in the car for a drive to experience the best Christmas lights in Pittsburgh.
Start a new holiday tradition when you visit the Baker Family Christmas Extravaganza of Lights and Music in Cranberry Township.
It's one of the best Christmas light displays in Pittsburgh.
Watch as the lights dance to the holiday music, all synchronized by Wayne Baker. He, his wife Jennifer, and their family spend months each year preparing the Christmas lights display in Pittsburgh.
It all starts with the lights. The family uses as many as 35,000 lights.
The process also includes a lot of hard work putting up the Christmas lights, and Mr. Baker synchronizes the lights with the songs the family has chosen each year.
These Pittsburgh Christmas lights are definitely bucket list-worthy.
Visitors to the Baker Family Christmas Lights Extravaganza are asked to give a donation that will go to the Pace School in Pittsburgh.
The Pace School is a special education school for children with autism and other special needs.
Tune your radio into the designated radio station to watch the light display. You might even get to meet the Bakers during your visit.
Dates and times for the upcoming Christmas season have not yet been announced. Keep an eye on the family's Facebook page for more information.
