1. Helvetia Tavern (Hillsboro)
For more than 30 years, Helvetia Tavern (and their giant, delicious burgers) have been attracting people from all over the state. 2. Blue Ox Bar (Government Camp)
Located inside the enchanting Timberline Lodge, Blue Ox Bar is a cozy little watering hole overflowing with history. It wasn't until after the lodge was nearly finished that architects realized they had forgotten to include a bar area. A wood storage area was converted into a bar last minute. 3. The Rainbow Cafe (Pendleton)
Tucked away in the charming town of Pendleton, The Rainbow Cafe is an old-school cowboy diner and bar with tons of character. Drinks are poured nice and strong, and the bar area is always bustling with regulars.209 S Main St., Pendleton, OR 97801
4. Huber's (Portland)
Founded in 1879, Huber's is Portland's oldest bar and restaurant. Order their famous Spanish Coffee, which is prepared table-side with fire-filled theatrics.411 SW 3rd Ave., Portland, OR 97204
5. McMenamins Old St. Francis School (Bend)
This pub, brewery, bakery, movie theater, and hotel began in the 1930s as a Catholic schoolhouse. It features a number of quirky bars (all of which are worth a visit), and even one hidden bar.700 NW Bond St., Bend, OR 97701
6. Pelican Brewing Company

7. Omar's (Ashland)

8. Pat's Corner (Forest Grove)
Located inside McMenamins Grand Lodge, this unique bar serves up handcrafted ales, wines, spirits and delicious pub fare. The vaulted ceiling is filled with Mike and Brian McMenamin's vintage album cover collection.3505 Pacific Ave., Forest Grove, OR 97116
9. Dan & Louis Oyster Bar (Portland)
A true Portland gem, the Oyster Bar has been owned and managed by the Wachsmuth family for over a century now. They still serve some of the freshest seafood in town, and you'll find a great selection of drinks in their nautical-themed bar.208 SW Ankeny St., Portland, OR 97204
10. Highland Stillhouse (Oregon City)
Known as Oregon's premiere whiskey pub, the Highland Stillhouse is an authentic Scottish bar with over 700 varieties of Scotch. The owners have been visiting Scotland for the past 20 years, and the bar is decorated with personal mementos from their travels. 11. San Dune Pub (Manzanita)

12. Izakaya Meiji Company (Eugene)
