Craving fresh, handmade pasta? Try Pastificio d’Oro in North Portland. You'll find fantastic Italian fare in an inviting, casual space for dining in or out. Pastificio means "small batch fresh pasta producer" in Italian and that moniker is a perfect fit for this little pasta brainchild of co-owners Chase Dopson and Maggie Irwin.
"Pastificio d’Oro was started in 2020 as a passion project for the craft of handmade pasta and in 2021 we started our pop-up dinner service," say Dopson and Irwin. Soon after, the Pastificio d’Oro eatery on North Lombard Street was born.
Stop on in for exquisite pasta.
Each dish is hand-crafted using traditional tools. The pasta is rolled out by hand using a long, thin rolling pin called a mattarello.
You'll find outside and inside seating.
The menu is inspired by the cuisine of Northern Italy.
On the menu, you'll find a mix of vibrant salads, antipasti, handmade pasta, and a curated selection of wines.
From ravioli to gnocchi, I can't wait to try each and every dish!
The menu changes frequently with the pastas on a bi-weekly rotation. Local purveyors of vegetables, eggs, meats, bread, and dairy are used as much as possible.
The desserts are simple and delicious.
This pesto gnocchi is truly inspired!
