A telltale sign that a restaurant is worthy of a visit is a long line out the door. Nic's Grill in Oklahoma City is a small restaurant that serves mouthwatering burgers, but you usually can't get your hands on one without waiting in a line out the door. They were voted the best burger in Oklahoma last year and it's not hard to see why once you indulge in their juicy burgers.

Nic’s has been serving mouthwatering burgers for almost two decades and they keep getting more popular as the years go on. They’ve received raving reviews from famous chefs, television shows, and in 2017 they ranked #19 for the best burger in the nation by Thrillist.
The restaurant only has 17 seats, nine of which are bar stools at the counter. But we promise these burgers will be worth the wait.
If you've never had the pleasure of eating at Nic's, then you've been missing out! Just take one look at the gigantic, mouthwatering burger and fries below and you'll begin to see what we're talking about.
If you can snag a seat, then take it! There's an old school counter where you can sit and watch them cook your burgers. Plus, there are some overhead televisions to keep you busy while you wait.
You can choose to add cheese, onions, jalapenos and other condiments. The meat at Nic's is cooked differently than most places. They make a crust on both sides of the beef and the flavor is incredible.
Add some fries to your order and an ice-cold lemonade and you'll pretty much be in a food coma.
You can find Nic's Grill at 1201 North Pennsylvania Avenue in the Tenn-Penn District of Oklahoma City. Visit Monday - Saturday during the lunch hours if you want to try the best burger in the state...just plan for a bit of a wait.
