One of the biggest food truck festivals in the state takes place on the third Saturday of each month from March through October. Over 25 food trucks gather on the streets of Edmond, along with live entertainment and it's an event you don't want to miss. Keep scrolling to learn more about Heard on Hurd.
Enjoy an evening of eating, shopping, and gathering with friends at the corner of Broadway and Hurd at Heard on Hurd in Edmond (try saying that three times!).
This beloved family-friendly event is celebrating its 5th year this September and you won't want to miss it. Over 25 food trucks will be there, including The Hall's Pizza Kitchen.
Make sure you come hungry because you will want to try the food from more than one truck. Be sure to visit Coits Food Truck that serves many local favorites like a classic hot dog and root beer.
Speaking of dogs, another great choice is The Wurst - serving great local, handmade sausage. Add it to a fresh baked bun and toppings and you have a tasty meal.
All you Mexican food lovers will want to head on over to Taco Nation where you'll find some of the best Baja style tacos in the state.
Plus, there are lots of drinks, many of which are kid friendly.
The live entertainment always sets the stage for a fun atmosphere. The next event on September 21 will feature three line-ups: Vibro Kings, jazz and blues artist Chanda Graham, and soulful singer/songwriter Carter Sampson.
This block-party festival is a great way to get out in the community and meet new friends. Come out and enjoy games, live music, shopping, local food, and more.
And you're sure to find several things you're going to want to buy while shopping. Local vendors come out and showcase their products, many of which are made right here in Oklahoma. One of my favorites is Growe Flower Truck selling many fresh flower options.
The two remaining dates for 2019 are September 21 and October 19.
Address: 32 North Broadway Avenue, Edmond, OK, 73034
