It's not very often you find mouthwatering burgers so good you want to shout about them to the world (or Only In Oklahoma fans). That was the case after discovering Hank's Hamburgers in Tulsa — a tiny, old-timey burger joint that's been serving the city's best burgers and malts since 1949.
Hank's Hamburgers is a long time burger joint in Tulsa that's been serving some of the best burgers and shakes in the city since 1949.
They moved locations in 1955 to their present location at 8933 East Admiral Pl. in Tulsa.
There are only 32 seats in the place and during lunchtime, there's usually a line out the door.
The place hasn't changed much over the years but you can still count on their mouthwatering burgers and tasty shakes blowing you away.
Burgers can be ordered with one patty (quarter-pound) all the way up to four patties called the Big Okie. But if you really want something big, order the secret menu item — the Okie Dokie with six patties.
Still to this day the owners use the same secret seasoning on the burgers that they started with more than 60 years ago.
Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced and a Tulsa tradition every Okie should try.

A telltale sign that a restaurant is worthy of a visit is a long line out the door. And just like Hanks, Nic’s Grill in Oklahoma City is a small restaurant that serves mouthwatering burgers, but you usually can’t get your hands on one without waiting in a line out the door. They were voted the best burger in Oklahoma last year and it’s not hard to see why once you indulge in their juicy burgers. Click here to read more about this OKC burger joint.
