Claud's Hamburgers is not only known for some of the best burgers in the state, but they also have one of the smallest restaurants in Oklahoma. What they lack in size, they more than make up for in flavor. Claud's has been family-owned and located in their original location in Tulsa since 1954. Keep reading to learn more about these amazing burgers, then make a trip to Tulsa to experience them in person.
Located in Tulsa in the Brookside District, this little burger joint is one not to be missed if you love a fantastic cheeseburger.
One of the most popular menu items is of course the quarter pound bacon cheeseburger. It is beyond tasty and is best enjoyed with everything on it.
Original owner, Claud Hobson (pictured below), believed grilling burgers was the optimal way to cook them, and this is still exactly how they are made today...all these years later.
Known as “Tulsa’s little ‘ol hamburger joint,” Claud’s has been serving up incredible hamburgers for nearly 70 years and is still going strong.
We suggest you try this one - the double cheeseburger with both, American and Pepper Jack cheeses.
Due to Covid-19, Claud’s is only offering takeout orders at this time. They do accept call ahead orders. Lunchtime gets very busy so plan accordingly.
Not for the faint of heart, the half-pound double cheeseburger tastes as good as it looks...but be warned, it is HUGE.

If you find yourself driving along Route 66 in Oklahoma suddenly craving a delicious burger, stop into Tumbleweed Grill & Country Store in the small town of Texola. It’s the oldest building on Route 66 operating as a restaurant. It’s pretty unsuspecting from the outside but full of character (and delicious food) on the inside. Click here to read more about it.
